Privacy Policy
Last updated: [DATE] · Applies to the Max Wall mobile game and playmaxwall.com
This Privacy Policy explains how [COMPANY NAME] ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you play Max Wall (the "Game") on iOS or Android, or visit playmaxwall.com (together, the "Services").
The short version
Max Wall is a free social game with no real money gambling. We collect the minimum needed to run the Game: a game account identifier, device and gameplay data, purchase records for in-app purchases, and analytics/attribution data. We do not sell your personal data. You can delete your account and data at any time — see our Account Deletion page.
1. Who we are
The data controller for the Services is:
[COMPANY NAME]
[REGISTERED ADDRESS]
Email: privacy@playmaxwall.com
2. Information we collect
2.1 Information you provide
- Account information. When you create a game account we generate a player ID. Depending on the sign-in options you use, we may also receive an email address or an identifier from a third-party sign-in provider (such as Apple or Google).
- Support requests. If you contact us, we receive your email address and the contents of your message.
2.2 Information collected automatically
- Device data: device model, operating system and version, language, app version, IP address, and coarse region derived from IP.
- Gameplay data: game progress, coin balance, bets and rounds played in game coins, session length, in-game events, and jackpot participation.
- Purchase data: records of in-app purchases (product, price, time, store transaction identifier). Payments are processed entirely by Apple App Store or Google Play — we never receive your card or payment details.
- Advertising and device identifiers: where you permit it, mobile advertising identifiers (IDFA on iOS with your consent via App Tracking Transparency; GAID on Android) and vendor/app-instance identifiers.
- Diagnostics: crash logs and performance data.
2.3 Information from third parties
- Attribution data. We use a mobile measurement partner (AppsFlyer) to understand which campaign or link brought you to the Game.
- App stores. Apple and Google provide us with aggregated download and purchase reporting.
3. How we use your information
- To operate the Game: create and maintain your account, save progress, sync your coin balance, and run game rounds and jackpots.
- To process and deliver in-app purchases and prevent fraudulent transactions.
- To analyze how the Game is played, fix bugs, and improve features.
- To measure marketing campaigns and attribute installs.
- To respond to support requests.
- To enforce our Terms of Service, including fair play and anti-abuse measures.
- To comply with legal obligations.
4. Legal bases (EEA/UK players)
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on: performance of a contract (running the Game and your account), legitimate interests (analytics, security, fraud prevention, and marketing measurement), consent (advertising identifiers where required, e.g. via App Tracking Transparency on iOS), and legal obligation (accounting and compliance records).
5. Sharing your information
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:
- Service providers that help us run the Services — hosting and infrastructure providers, analytics providers, attribution (AppsFlyer), and crash-reporting tools — under contracts limiting their use of the data.
- App stores (Apple, Google) for purchases and distribution.
- Authorities, if required by law or to protect our legal rights.
- A successor entity in the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, in which case this Policy will continue to apply to your data.
6. International transfers
Our servers and service providers may be located outside your country. Where data is transferred out of the EEA or UK, we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
7. Data retention
- Account and gameplay data — kept while your account is active. Deleted or anonymized within 30 days of a verified account deletion request.
- Purchase records — retained as required by tax and accounting laws (typically up to [X] years), even after account deletion.
- Fraud-prevention and security records — retained for as long as necessary to protect the Services.
- Analytics data — retained in aggregated or pseudonymized form.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. You can exercise these rights by emailing privacy@playmaxwall.com. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
To delete your account and associated data, see our Account Deletion page or use Settings → Account → Delete Account in the Game.
9. Children
Max Wall is intended for players aged 18 and over and contains simulated gambling. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, contact us at privacy@playmaxwall.com and we will delete it.
10. Security
We use technical and organizational measures appropriate to the risk, including encrypted connections (TLS), access controls, and server-side validation of all game transactions. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and change the "Last updated" date. Material changes will be communicated in the Game or by other reasonable means.
